Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park // Elopement Wedding Photography
The Trossachs in Scotland are often described as the “Highlands in miniature”, and they’re seriously special for a few reasons:
EPIC LANDSCAPES, COMPACT SIZE
You get lochs, forests, rugged hills, and glens all packed into one accessible area. It's like nature's sampler platter—Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine, and Ben A'an are all nearby, giving you that dramatic Highland feel without needing to trek too far north.
JUST A BIT MAGICAL
With fairytale forests and mirror-like lochs, it's no surprise the Trossachs often feel like something out of folklore. There’s a touch of enchantment in the air—especially at sunrise or when the mist rolls in.
QUIET, SOULFUL AND PERSONAL
The Trossachs aren’t overcrowded like some big-name Highland spots. It’s ideal if you're after a low-key, deeply personal ceremony where it’s just you two, the landscape, and the wind whispering through the pines.
YEAR-ROUND GORGEOUSNESS
Spring: bluebells + fresh green forests . Summer: golden loch reflections + long light
Autumn: fire-colored hills, misty mornings. Winter: snow-capped peaks + cozy cabin vibes
There’s no off-season — just different kinds of magic.
N i c o l e & L u k e
A couple of years ago I was fortunate to capture this couple’s special post wedding day in The Trossachs. They had their big wedding few months earlier and decided to come to Scotland for a very special to them, intimate vows exchange.
As a professional photographer I pride myself on my ability to create personal connections with my clients. I strive to understand their unique vision and bring it to life through my photos. I read the light, the mood, and the connection between a couple to capture images that feel real and intentional. I take time to understand what feels right for them, I’ll guide when needed and tune into their energy, keeping things relaxed.
I hope that these images serve as a remainder of the love, joy and natural beauty that can be found in the most intimate of settings.
